Germany is preparing a major procurement of up to 1,800 Boxer armoured vehicles, in what would represent one of the largest single orders in the platform's history.

The requirement spans multiple Boxer variants, including troop transport, command post and specialist mission modules, reflecting the Bundeswehr's push to modernise its mechanised infantry brigades.

A phased contract structure is under discussion, with initial batches expected to be prioritised for units committed to NATO's eastern flank posture.
